SUMMARY
Geopolymer/Manhole Rehabilitation labourer supports the installation and rehabilitation of manholes and underground infrastructure using specialized geopolymer and rehabilitation technologies. Working as part of a field crew, this position assists with site preparation, equipment operation, material handling, installation activities, and jobsite cleanup while ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with daily jobsite setup and preparation.
- Support the installation of geopolymer and manhole rehabilitation systems.
- Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment.
- Assist with mixing and handling rehabilitation materials according to established procedures.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and specialized rehabilitation equipment as trained.
- Perform cleaning, maintenance, and organization of equipment
- Assist with confined space entry activities when trained and authorized.
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in daily safety meetings and hazard assessments.
- Maintain a clean and organized worksite.
- Assist with traffic control and site protection measures when required.
- Complete labour-intensive tasks in various weather conditions.
- Represent the company professionally when interacting with clients and the public.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
· Previous construction, labour, underground utility, or industrial experience is considered an asset but not required.
· Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills.
· Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
· Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
· Ability to work in confined spaces when required and properly trained.
· Ability to work out of town with approximately 75% travel.
· Ability to work overtime and flexible hours as project demands require.
· Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
· Ability to enter and work in confined spaces.
· First Aid, CSTS, TDG, Confined Space, and WHMIS certifications considered an asset.
· Clean Class 5 driver's license with Air Brake endorsement preferred.

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
