We are currently seeking experienced Class 1 Oilfield Operators to join our team. We have openings in all 3 of our branch locations - Red Deer, Kuusamo (just outside Sylvan Lake), and Buck Lake.
We are looking for drivers to operate fuel delivery trucks, pressure trucks, tank trucks, and hot oilers. We load, transport, and pump fluids during well servicing, maintenance, and pipeline operations. These are demanding roles that will keep you busy.
Schedule / Rotation
- 10/4 in the summer months and 11/3 in the winter months
- Over time after 10 hours a day or 50 hours a week
- While hours are not guaranteed, we are very busy with no signs of slowing down
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain heavy duty commercial vehicles
- Safely load, transport, and pump fluids
- Complete FLHAs accurately and in a timely manner
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and electronic driver logs
- Handle hazardous materials in compliance with TDG and OH&S regulations
- Perform basic maintenance and cleaning on equipment as required
- Work in varying weather conditions and perform manual labour
- Participate in safety meetings
- Maintain professionalism and respectful communication with drivers, clients, and co-workers
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience operating pressure trucks in the Oil & Gas industry
- Valid Class 1 driver’s licence with clean 5 year abstract
- Standard First Aid, Common Safety Orientation (CSO), and H2S Alive safety tickets
- Strong working knowledge of TDG, Hours of Service, and OH&S requirements
- Solid understanding of fluid pressure systems and pumping operations
- Physically capable of performing hands-on work in outdoor environments
- Willingness to work extended hours during the winter season
