Pars Glass is seeking a reliable, hardworking Glazier Assistant to join our installation team. The successful candidate will assist with the installation of glass, mirrors, shower enclosures, and other glazing products on residential and commercial projects. This position offers opportunities to learn the trade and advance within the company.
Job purpose: Assisting with the process of production, preparation, and installation of interior glazing in commercial or residential projects.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Assist with the installation of mirrors, glass, shower doors.
- Load, unload, and transport glass and materials safely.
- Measure, prepare, and organize materials for installation.
- Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Help maintain a clean and organized worksite.
- Follow all company safety procedures.
- Communicate professionally with customers and coworkers.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum one year of glazing experience is required. Previous experience in glazing, construction, or a related trade is an asset
- Ability to lift up to 50–100 lbs with assistance and proper equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Reliable, punctual, and a team player.
- Valid driver's license is an asset.
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
