Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their shopping needs
- Operate POS systems accurately for cash handling and transactions
- Process sales, returns, and exchanges efficiently while maintaining accuracy
- Upsell additional items to enhance customer satisfaction and sales volume
- Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure the cleanliness of the checkout area
- Handle customer inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy
- Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods
- Support inventory management through stock replenishment and organization
- Assist in training new team members on POS systems and customer service protocols
Skills
- Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and active listening
- Proficiency with POS systems, cash handling, and basic math skills
- Ability to perform retail sales, upselling, and merchandising tasks effectively
- Experience with technology sales or product demonstrations is a plus
- Excellent organizational skills and time management capabilities
