Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate natural therapies and lifestyle modifications
- Provide expert guidance on nutrition, herbal medicine, physical medicine, and other naturopathic modalities tailored to each patient's needs
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure integrated patient care and optimal health outcomes
- Educate patients on health maintenance, disease prevention, and self-care strategies to promote long-term wellness
- Maintain accurate, detailed medical records in compliance with regulatory standards and clinic policies
- Stay current with advancements in naturopathic medicine by engaging in ongoing professional development and research
- Support all aspects of women's health care - with emphasis on hormonal health management, by applying specialized knowledge within naturopathic practise
Requirements
- Valid licensure or certification as a Naturopathic Doctor in Ontario
- Proof of current prescribing license
- Experience prescribing bioidentical hormones for menopause management
- Proven experience in patient care, including working with women's health concerns is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of medical terminology to accurately interpret clinical information and communicate effectively with patients and colleagues
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with diverse patient groups
- Commitment to ethical practice, confidentiality, and continuous learning in the field of naturopathy
