Duties
- Operate construction equipment including: skid steers, payloader, excavator, Dozer
- Follow Operators and supervisors instructions.
- Assist Operator in checking the equipment for any damages prior to any operations.
- Report Company quality policy and procedure while carrying daily duties.
- Maintain proper handling of all equipment especially mechanical and electronic gauges in order to avoid failures.
- Report quality suggestion in order to improve our quality.
- Self-learning capabilities.
- Carry out all work activities in a safe manner.
- Follow all company procedures and controls.
- Use the safety harness when working on highlights.
- Make sure that your HSE training is completed and valid.
- Maintain good housekeeping at work site and accommodation on a daily basis.
- Ensure clear communication while working on platforms during daily operations.
- Work along side management to efficiently complete work,
- Provide support to successful completion of construction and engineering work,
- Proficient Experience using heavy equipment such as earth movers,
- Provide fine-grade experience with bulldozers and excavators along with other related equipment and attachments,
- Operate and manage equipment with safety in sight; mitigating accidents and damage of property,
- Perform routine safety, maintenance or servicing checks of equipment,
- Strong understanding of OHSA and Construction Regulations,
- Ability to read and understand site drawings and specifications,
- Knowledge of materials and tools utilized in heavy civil construction.
Skills
- Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as dozers (Caterpillar preferred), excavators, loaders, graders, backhoes
- Strong mechanical knowledge to perform routine maintenance and identify potential issues early
- Ability to operate commercial vehicles for transportation of equipment or materials when required
- Skilled in construction practices
- Familiarity with safety regulations related to heavy equipment operation and construction sites
- Excellent communication skills for teamwork and coordination on busy job sites
- Valid driver’s license with commercial driving certification is preferred

Pay: $30.00-$38.00 per hour
