Position: DZ Class Delivery Driver (Part-Time)
Pay Rate: $28 - $30 per hour
Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a reliable and professional DZ Class Delivery Driver to join our team for mostly WEEKENDS. As a key player in our delivery operations, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and safe delivery of our fresh, grass-fed meats and other grocery products directly to our customers' homes. Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle within the Thunder Bay area, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Load, transport, and deliver items to clients or businesses in a safe, timely manner while maintaining the integrity of the cargo.
- Review orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, charges are correct, and the customer is satisfied.
- Assist with loading and unloading items from vehicles.
- Provide excellent customer service, answering questions, and handling complaints from clients.
- Adhere to assigned routes and follow time schedules.
- Prepare reports and other documents relating to deliveries.
- Perform vehicle inspections such as checking fluid levels and tire pressure to ensure road safety.
- Follow Nutrafarms' policies and procedures related to the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle.
Requirements:
- Valid DZ driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a delivery driver role preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
- Strong time management and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Familiarity with Thunder Bay area roads and neighborhoods.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
