Cottage Dream Vacations is looking for an energetic, reliable, and detail-oriented Hospitality Cleaning & Property Care Associate to join our growing team.
This position starts as a part-time role, with the opportunity to transition into a full-time career as our business continues to expand. Over the coming months, we'll be opening a new showroom and restaurant in Whitby, creating exciting opportunities for the right person to grow with us.

About the Role
You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of our corporate office and nearby short-term rental properties, ensuring every guest and team member experiences an exceptionally clean, welcoming environment.
All work locations are within approximately 3 km of our Whitby headquarters.
What You'll DoShort-Term Rental Turnovers
- Complete detailed cleaning between guest stays
- Prepare properties to hotel-quality standards
- Change and make beds
- Clean kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and living spaces
- Restock guest amenities and supplies
- Inspect each property to ensure it is guest-ready
- Report maintenance concerns or damaged items
Office Cleaning
- Maintain a clean and professional corporate office environment
- Clean offices, meeting rooms, washrooms, kitchens, and common areas
- Empty garbage and recycling
- Dust, vacuum, mop, and sanitize surfaces
- Maintain cleaning supplies and advise when inventory is low
Laundry
- Wash, dry, fold, and organize linens and towels
- Maintain linen inventory
- Ensure all laundry meets quality standards before being returned to properties
Property Support
- Assist with seasonal deep cleans
- Help prepare new properties as they come online
- Support special cleaning projects
- Assist with light property organization and staging as needed

- Comfortable working in both office and residential environments
Requirements
- Valid Ontario driver's licence
- Reliable personal vehicle (required)
- Ability to travel between nearby work locations throughout the day
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to bend, reach, climb stairs, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks
- Available to work weekdays, with occasional weekends and holidays depending on guest bookings
- Previous cleaning, hotel, hospitality, or housekeeping experience is considered an asset but is not required

This position is expected to begin as part-time, with the opportunity to transition into a permanent full-time position. Upon becoming an eligible permanent full-time employee, participation in the Company's group benefits program will be available in accordance with the terms of the plan.

- Occasional weekends may be required to support guest turnovers
Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour
