The Senior Transition Specialist Case Manager is responsible for monitoring and supporting branch teams from the start of the client transition plan through completion to ensure a smooth transition of clients, including high profile transitions. The Case Manager ensures Edward Jones provides the support necessary for the branch team to focus their time and effort on meeting with clients. Case Managers work with branches in transition due to a financial advisor leaving the firm, relocating or assuming responsibility of a transition branch. The Case Manger will serve as the "primary contact" for the Branch Team Support Member for any issues that would interfere with their ability to focus on working with clients to deliver a more "ideal client experience" which will improve client retention.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates a high degree of precision during client account movement to mitigate risk to keep us compliant with our industry regulator.
- Answer integrated compensation questions and demonstrate seasoned judgement when escalations are necessary. Can identify, understand, and articulate veteran FA, BOA and recipient compensation concepts. Responsible for answering complex and integrated recipient compensation questions around P&L, salary, and the effects of commission adjustments

Own/lead large impact department objectives and projects with some firm-wide scope

Serves as liaison and advocate, and lead as a subject matter expert representing the entire department;SME on multiple topics.

Monitoring and proactively empowering branches with tools and resources that foster success in the branch

Ability to handle client transitions that have a high level of conflict resolution or complexity, utilizing personalized messaging to fit the interaction or conversation, diffuse volatile situations and identify red flags when branch can't self-identify potential conflict. Supports peers during escalations

Conduct proactive and reactive branch team touchpoints while developing relationships to deliver a positive branch experience, in both one on one and one to many coaching and guidance touchpoints through a variety of communication channels

Understanding and analyzing issues from multiple points of view to determine the best possible outcomes for clients, branch teams and the firm.
- Partnering and collaborating with other home office departments to ensure client transition plans are executed in an efficient manner.
- Using sound judgement to know when to seek assistance from a leader or Partner as potential issues become more complex

Utilizing conflict resolution and collaborative skills to address challenging situations while identifying positive outcomes that maintain the integrity of CT plans

Gathering feedback and identifying opportunities to enhance the branch team and client experience

Assists leadership in building out team strategies and measurements, along with execution of strategies

Ability to handle routine and non-routine client transition plans
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field or equivalent work experience

2-5 years of financial service experience

2-5 years of experience in Product and Sales, Sales Training and Development, or other departments requiring a license.
** Please note that this is a part time role with an average of 16-20 hours per week and for a contract term until on or around December 31st unless further extended.
