Hawk Lake Lodge is a 5-star Fishing Resort that provides guest with an all-inclusive American plan. Guests come to Hawk Lake to enjoy the world-record fishing and to our first class service.
We are seeking a chef's assistant / 2nd chef to join our outstanding team, which includes a chef, 8 dock hand/fishing guides, and 5 waitress/ housekeepers. We can accommodate upwards of 25 guests per day, with the average guest staying 5-7 days per trip. - Assist with preparing guest and staff meals, assist with maintaining food inventory, accepting weekly food deliveries, and shopping as needed.
- Must be comfortable making made-to-order breakfast for upwards of 25 guests, over a 1 hour period, 6 mornings a week
- Must be familiar with working in the kitchen on tasks including salad preparations, preparing appetizers, cooking guests dinner (entree selection to be coordinated with the head chef) as well as preparing staff dinners.
The role would require working a split shift 6 days a week. Typically the morning shift would run from 6:00am-9:30am and the evening shift of 4pm-7pm, except on Saturdays which would be slightly longer shift.
Valid drivers' license preferred but not required.
