As a Social Worker I, you will be a member of a multi- disciplinary team that provides mental health services to individuals, families and/or groups at a community based facility. You will be responsible for the initial screening of patients by gathering and documenting client information, basic assessment and providing support to clients and their families' short-term needs. You will liaise with and refer clients to appropriate community and government services and support, along with participating in case conferences and team meetings.

Required Qualifications:
Completion of diploma in Social Work. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Social Workers (ACSW).
Additional Required Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience in accessing and coordinating housing programs is required. Proven experience working with marginalized populations is essential. The successful candidate will have a strong record of effective collaboration within interdisciplinary team settings. The candidate must demonstrate strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, along with excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with health care team members, patients and their families in a fast-paced environment. Sound professional judgement, initiative, and effective time management skills are essential
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in program development, and the ability to establish and maintain productive relationships with community partners are considered assets. Experience working in a healthcare environment is also an asset.
