Currie’s Farm Market is a family-owned, on-farm seasonal market, specializing in exceptional locally grown & produced food items. Every day, we offer freshly harvested & organic produce, chef inspired made from scratch prepared meals, salads & sandwiches, clean meats, locally sourced cheeses and dairy and a vast assortment of soups, salsas, sauces, preserves and more.
We are looking for friendly, outgoing, dependable individuals to provide exceptional customer service to all of Currie’s Farm Market’s amazing customers, on a daily basis, until we close for the season on December 24th. In this role, you will be responsible for driving revenues through excellent product knowledge, superior merchandising skills and love of local food. During the day you will be responsible for completing tasks as assigned while providing each and every customer with an experience that always exceeds their expectations.
Duties will include:
- Opening and closing the market daily.
- Processing of all customer purchases on our point of sale system.
- Maintaining store displays as welcoming and ensuring they are clean, rotated and well-stocked to store merchandising plan.
- Management & proper rotation of inventory.
- Receiving orders.
- Responding to all inquiries pleasantly and promptly.
- Prioritizing tasks and multitasking.
- Ensuring that food safety and cleanliness standards are followed at all times.
Food safety handling and point of sale cashier experience would be great, but training will be provided. You must be able to stand for long periods of time, and lift heavy boxes at times. You must be 18 years of age and hold a Smart Serve certification.
