Dhaliwal Detailing is hiring a reliable and hardworking Truck Wash Technician to join our growing mobile truck wash team.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a consistent 4-day work week with long shifts and competitive pay. You will be responsible for washing semi trucks, trailers, and commercial equipment at different customer and fleet yard locations throughout Surrey and the Lower Mainland.
Training is provided — previous truck washing experience is an asset but not required.
Pay
- First 45 days: $19.50/hour during training
- After 45 days: $22/hour
- Performance-based opportunities for future raises
Schedule
- Friday – Monday
- 4 days per week
- Approximately 8–10 hours per shift
- Approximately 32–40 hours per week
- Start times may vary depending on customer and yard schedules
- Some shifts may begin early morning or later in the day
Responsibilities
- Pressure wash semi trucks, trailers, and commercial equipment
- Operate professional hot water pressure washing equipment
- Travel to different customer and fleet yard locations
- Safely operate and maintain company equipment
- Safely operate a 16-foot Hino 195 Class 5 box truck
- Set up and clean up equipment at job sites
- Keep the company truck, equipment, and work areas clean and organized
- Follow company safety procedures
- Provide professional service and maintain high-quality washing standards
Requirements
- Valid BC Class 5 driver's licence
- Clean driving record
- Comfortable driving a 16-foot Hino 195 box truck
- Reliable and punctual
- Physically fit and able to lift approximately 40–50 lbs
- Comfortable working outdoors in rain, cold, heat, and other weather conditions
- Able to stand and perform physical work for extended periods
- Willing to complete a background check
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Previous pressure washing, truck washing, or detailing experience is an asset
- Training will be provided
About the Job
Our mobile truck wash units are professionally equipped with hot water pressure washing systems and onboard water, allowing us to service commercial trucks and fleets at their locations.
