What You Will Do:
- High-visibility patrol of assigned areas, on foot and in company vehicles
- Ensure the security of all personnel, visitors, and the general public
- Respond against theft, trespassing, vandalism, and fire
- Monitor property access control
- Investigate and report suspicious behavior, incidents, and security breaches
- Enforce client informed policies
- Communicate with law enforcement, emergency medical personnel, and fire departments
- Respond to and investigate alarms, ensuring properties are secure and in order before departing
Shift Details:
- Part time: Must be able to work Friday & Saturday Overnight
- Shifts: Friday- 11:45pm-08:00am, Saturday- 08:00pm-08:00am
- Mobile patrol team works out of the main operations office in EDMONTON, which is accessible by transit.
You Are a Great Fit If You:
- Hold a valid AB Security License.
- Hold Mobile Security experience of 2-3 years. (STRONGLY PREFERRED)
- Have a valid Class 4 or 5 Driver's License, with a clean driver's abstract (NO previous suspensions and/or prohibitions)
- Strong knowledge of Road Safety
- Relevant security experience
- Relevant experience in the security or customer service industry
- Excellent customer service & professional deportment
- High standard for safety & a passion for security
- Excellent documentation and communication skills
- Enjoy working as part of a team, but able to work independently without supervision
- Additional certifications are an asset: Occupational First Aid Level 1, 2, 3, AST, Etc.
