What You’ll Do
As the driver, you will operate Dyno Nobel trucks and other such plant equipment in order to deliver commercial explosives products to customers in a safe, timely, and efficient manner Other duties will include:

Accurately complete inventory records, other appropriate documentation, and reports

Drive/operate a range of delivery vehicles over public roads in order to move or deliver explosive products to company or customer sites in a timely and safe manner. Driving duties will also frequently extend off of public roads to include mine locations/roads, FSRs, off-road field locations and another potentially difficult terrain

Operation of rigid-frame, engine-powered machines (skid steer or equivalent)

Use basic mechanical skills and the ability to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs or maintenance while in the field; deliver and offload products within DN H&S Management System procedures and practices

Manage performance, deliveries, and customer expectations while complying with all Federal, Provincial and local regulations.
What We’re Looking For:
-
Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
-
12-24 months of mechanical, commercial driving, explosives, or related work experience
-
Must satisfy the requirements for NRCAN Explosives Handling Permit
-
Acquire and maintain all appropriate licenses and certifications required by Federal and Provincial entities
-
Class 1 Driver License
-
Satisfactory completion of and demonstrated competencies in DNCI specified training modules, including technical, regulatory, and other applicable skill based training
-
Experience with Inventory Management is a plus

Ability to read, write, and speak English, and to communicate in writing and verbally
-
Must be at least 21 years of age

Must possess basic computer skills
-
Must be able to move items weighing up to 60lbs repetitively over the course of a working day
