Overview
Leena's Cookies is looking for friendly, energetic, and reliable Crew Members who are
passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences. As a Crew Member, you'll be the
face of our bakery, preparing and serving our freshly baked cookies and coffee, keeping the shop
running smoothly, and creating a welcoming environment for every guest.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests and creating a welcoming
experience.
- Prepare, package, and serve cookies, beverages, and other menu items according to
company standards.
- Accurately process orders for in-store guests, online orders, pickup, and third-party
delivery platforms.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system and accurately handle cash and card transactions.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cash reconciliation and cleaning
duties.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary bakery at all times in accordance with food
safety standards.
- Restock packaging, ingredients, beverages, and retail merchandise throughout each shift.
- Assist with receiving and organizing inventory deliveries.
- Prepare coffee and espresso-based beverages according to company recipes and
standards.
- Monitor product quality and presentation to ensure every customer receives the highest
quality product.
- Follow all health and safety, food handling, and sanitation procedures.
- Work collaboratively with teammates to maintain efficient operations during busy
periods.
- Assist with catering, special orders, and promotional events as required.
- Support the Store Manager and act as a shift leader when requested.
- Complete opening and closing procedures, including cleaning and sanitation tasks
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with receiving and storing deliveries
Qualifications
- Valid Food Handler Certificate (or willingness to obtain one upon hiring).
- Previous experience in a bakery, café, coffee shop, restaurant, or food service
environment is considered an asset.
- Positive attitude with a strong focus on hospitality and customer service.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Comfortable using POS systems and third-party delivery platforms such as Uber Eats,
DoorDash, and SkipTheDishes.
- Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
