Job Overview
The Open Doors is seeking an experienced, passionate, and collaborative Lead Youth Resiliency Facilitator to lead the delivery of our evidence-informed Youth Resiliency Program serving youth ages 12–24 throughout the Camrose & Camrose County Area.
This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about empowering youth, building strong community partnerships, facilitating engaging group programs, and helping young people develop the skills and confidence to thrive.
In this role, you will lead the implementation of The Open Doors Youth Resiliency Program by delivering engaging resiliency programming, building meaningful relationships with youth, caregivers, schools, and community partners, supporting participants in achieving their goals, and providing functional guidance to the Youth Resiliency Facilitator to ensure consistent, high-quality program delivery.
What You'll Do
As the Lead Youth Resiliency Facilitator, you will:
- Deliver engaging youth resiliency programming in schools and community settings.
- Facilitate workshops, leadership activities, mentoring opportunities, and group interventions.
- Support youth through goal setting, referrals, and individualized action planning.
- Engage caregivers by providing education, resources, and opportunities to strengthen family resilience.
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships with schools, service providers, and community partners.
- Monitor participant outcomes and maintain accurate documentation.
- Prepare program reports and contribute to ongoing program evaluation and continuous improvement.
- Provide functional leadership, coaching, and support to the Youth Resiliency Facilitator.
- Represent The Open Doors in the community and promote youth resiliency initiatives.
What We're Looking For
Education
Diploma or Degree in one of the following (or a related discipline):
- Social Work
- Child & Youth Care
- Human Services
- Psychology
- Education
- Community Development
- Sociology
- Criminology
Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
Experience
We're looking for someone with:
- Minimum 2 years' experience working with youth.
- Experience facilitating groups, workshops, or community programs.
- Experience working with vulnerable youth and families.
- Strong relationship-building and community partnership skills.
- Knowledge of trauma-informed, strengths-based, and Positive Youth Development approaches.
- Excellent communication, organization, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Experience with program evaluation, performance measurement, and reporting is considered an asset.
Working Conditions
This position includes work in office, school, community, and outreach settings throughout the Camrose & Camrose County. Occasional evening and weekend work is required, along with regular local travel.

- Child Intervention Record Check
- Valid Standard First Aid & CPR Certification
- Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence
- Clear Driver's Abstract (3 Years )
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries
