We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Dishwasher / Prep Cook to join our kitchen team. In this role, you will help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen while supporting basic food preparation. Key Responsibilities:
Dishwashing & Sanitation:
- Operate commercial dishwashing equipment to clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen tools
- Hand wash delicate or oversized items as needed
- Ensure all items are properly dried, stored, and organized
- Maintain cleanliness of the dish area and assist with general kitchen sanitation
Food Preparation:
- Assist with basic food prep tasks such as washing, chopping, and portioning ingredients
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards
- Support kitchen staff with prep work as needed to ensure smooth service
Qualifications:
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Previous kitchen experience is an asset, but not required
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods
- Ability to bend, stoop, and reach frequently
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
