Claims Administrator
The Claims Administrator plays a meaningful role in the moments that matter most to our Policyholders. As one of the first connections in the claims process, you will work closely with our Claims team to ensure every Policyholder feels supported, informed, and cared for. In this role, you will provide administrative support across the claims department, process windshield and glass claims, and assist with auto physical damage claims as needed.
As the successful candidate, you bring strong organizational skills and a genuine commitment to service. You are dependable, responsive, and take pride in delivering an outstanding Policyholder experience. You value building meaningful relationships with our Policyholders, communities, and team members, and you understand that the work you do makes a real difference in people's lives.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as one of the first points of contact in the claims process, delivering a caring and responsive Policyholder experience.
- Set up new claims administratively, accurately inputting claim details and maintaining organized records.
- Monitor and respond to the claims phone line and new claims inbox, directing inquiries to the appropriate team members.
- Complete processing of windshield and glass claims
- Assist with auto physical damage claims to support the claims team during periods of high volume.
- Process and distribute claims payments.
- Order required investigative reports including police reports and vehicle ownership documentation.
- Assist with document management, claims vendor administrative tasks, and drafting correspondence as directed.
Skills and Experience:
- Post-secondary education; insurance-related preferred.
- Working towards or completion of the Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation is an asset.
- Experience with Guidewire software, an asset.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- A genuine commitment to outstanding customer service and a team-oriented mindset.
- Experience in the insurance industry, preferred.

Hiring annual salary range: $50,000-$58,000
