MCG Careers has provided services to unemployed Albertans since 1989. We utilize current career development techniques to assist individuals with successful employment preparation, job placement, training on the job, workshops, and skill training programs.
MCG Careers is currently seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our Edmonton team as a Job Coach. This is a 3-month contract covering a medical leave.

- Empathetic and patient – you have experience working with individuals living with mental health concerns and knowledge of mental health and wellness
- Adaptable and solution-oriented – able to manage competing priorities while maintaining focus on client-centred care
- Self-motivated and creative – you do what it takes to connect clients with job opportunities
What You’ll Bring:
- Work experience and job-placement experience for individuals with barriers to employment, such as mental health concerns
- Career Development Certificate or related post-secondary education
- Understanding of the career planning process
- Awareness of the local labour market
- Facilitation experience (1:1 and small groups)
- Fluent in workshop development and mental health-related barriers
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong computer knowledge/skills
- Valid Class 5 driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
