Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Administrative Assistant to support our property management team in the daily operations of residential properties. The ideal candidate will have previous property management experience, strong knowledge of Yardi software, and exceptional customer service skills. This role is responsible for administrative support, resident communication, documentation management, record keeping, and ensuring timely coordination with Head Office.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support and assist with daily operations
- Maintain accurate resident files, records, and documentation
- Process and organize lease agreements, notices, and other property-related documents
- Ensure all required documentation is submitted to Head Office in a timely manner
- Respond to resident inquiries professionally and ensure resident satisfaction
- Coordinate communication between residents, vendors, and management teams
- Update and maintain information within Yardi and internal systems
- Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and correspondence using Microsoft Excel and other Office applications
- Assist with move-ins, move-outs, and general administration duties
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in all resident and company records
Qualifications
- Previous experience in property management or a related administrative role
- Proficiency with Yardi software
- Strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service
