Permanent Full-Time Opportunity – Production Line & Maintenance Assistant (with Growth Potential)
Advanced Panel Products Ltd., a leading Alberta manufacturer of high-quality polyurethane insulated stressed skin panels, is looking for a reliable, hard-working team player to join our close-knit production team. This is a hands-on role where you will work directly on the production line to help run the manufacturing process (including foam filling of insulated panels), perform equipment maintenance, and help keep everything running smoothly. The right person will have clear long-term potential to learn the entire operation and eventually help run the plant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work on the production line daily — including foam injection and panel assembly
- Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on production equipment
- Set up equipment for production runs and help meet daily targets
- Receive direction positively and give clear, respectful direction to line workers when needed
- Operate a forklift and handle manufactured materials
- Willing learn on overhead crane operation
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and production activities
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace
- Support the Plant Manager in day-to-day operations
What We’re Looking For:
- Must speak clear, fluent English (strong verbal communication is essential)
- Hard worker with a strong work ethic — you show up on time, ready to work, and push through busy periods
- Mechanically/electrically inclined and willing to learn maintenance and troubleshooting
- Positive attitude and natural team player — we are a small crew, and everyone works together
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to take initiative
- Interest in growing with the company — the right person will be trained to understand the full operation and take on more responsibility over time (including future leadership/plant running duties)
- Have Transportation to and from work (valid driver’s license)
Previous experience in manufacturing or maintenance is preferred but not required — we are happy to train the right motivated person. Basic welding, forklift & overhead craneexperience are preferred (can train). This is a permanent, full-time position with a stable local manufacturer. If you’re energetic, dependable, eager to learn, and want a role where you can grow with the team, we want to hear from you. We are a tight knit team — this role is about adding strength to the crew, not replacing anyone. If you’re a solid, humble, hard-working individual who respects the people around you, you will fit in well.
