Our Plumbing Technician position is vital to ensuring our clients' heating and plumbing systems operate smoothly. Based in North and West Vancouver, this role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining various heating and plumbing systems to uphold our company's commitment to excellence.
Responsibilities
Our Plumbing Technician will:
- Repair, service, and maintain plumbing fixtures.
- Diagnose issues onsite
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Collaborate with head office to complete multiple jobs on time
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and codes
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance procedures
- Keep accurate records of work performed
Typical Duties
- Diagnose plumbing problems in homes
- Repair leaks in water lines, drains, and fixtures
Replace or repair:
- faucets
- toilets
- garburators
- shut-off valves
- hose bibs
- traps
- sinks
- tubs and showers
- Clear or repair drain issues
Install or Replace:
- tankless water heaters
- sump pumps
- fixture packages
- Inspect plumbing systems and identify code or safety issues
- Troubleshoot low water pressure, no hot water, recurring leaks, slow drains, and similar issues
- Provide maintenance and service recommendations
- Write up job notes, material lists, and sometimes quotes
- Communicate with homeowners clearly and professionally
- Keep the work area clean and protect the home while working
Pay: $35.00-$60.00 per hour
