The Production supervisor is responsible for the production area to ensure on time deliveries of all parts manufactured in the Plant. To do this the Production Supervisor will be responsible for personnel and coordination on the floor to manufacture and ship the parts. The Production Supervisor is responsible to have finished parts available for the scheduled outbound deliveries.
Major Areas of Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of Production – Demands Company wide, Schedule of machines, coordinating across shifts

Utilize ERP, daily reports, weekly meetings, and Work Order Program to input and track production

Communicate schedule to all pertinent people

Schedule regular machine maintenance with maintenance department

Resolve and report any issues that may arise to the Plant Manager

Enforce compliance of company policies and procedures

Maintain a safe and effective work environment

Work with the Plant Manager to ensure that there are the proper number of people to meet production needs

Work with the Production Assistant(s) to schedule machines and personnel

Part of improving efficiencies in all aspects (total parts, parts per hour produced, PPM defects, downtime, employee productivity) of production.

Education/Certification/Experience

Minimum 5 Years as Production Supervisor or equivalent

Valid lift truck license

JHSC certification

Work Environment
While performing the various duties of this position, the employee will have exposure to an office setting as well as outside elements (rain, snow, extreme cold/hot conditions). While performing some duties on the production floor, the employee will be exposed to high levels of noise from running machinery at times.
Hours of Work
6:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Monday – Friday
3:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m. Monday – Friday
