Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Mathematics Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mathematics instruction and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment. Duties
- Develop and deliver comprehensive math lessons tailored to diverse student needs.
- Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative evaluations, providing constructive feedback to support growth.
- Incorporate tutoring sessions and one-on-one instruction to reinforce learning concepts and address individual challenges.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum materials, assessments, and classroom activities that promote critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Maintain clear communication with students, parents, and staff regarding student progress, behavioral concerns, or instructional adjustments.
- Integrate writing skills into math instruction to enhance students’ ability to articulate mathematical reasoning effectively.
Requirements
- Proven classroom experience teaching mathematics across various age groups.
- Strong knowledge of math content areas along with experience in instructional design and tutoring techniques.
- Experience working with children, demonstrating patience and adaptability.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging students, parents, and colleagues effectively.
- Ability to create inclusive lesson plans that accommodate diverse learning styles and needs.
