About the Role
We are a warm and respectful family located in Brookswood, Langley looking for a reliable Punjabi and English speaking Household Assistant / Companion to help with light household tasks and provide companionship to our mother.
This is a part-time role with flexible daytime hours, ideal for someone who enjoys helping families, cooking, and keeping a home organized.

Responsibilities may include:
- Light housekeeping and home organization
- Laundry and folding clothes
- Preparing healthy meals and meal preparation for family needs;
- Grocery shopping
- Running small errands (pharmacy, groceries, etc.)
- Keeping the kitchen and common areas tidy
- Providing friendly companionship and conversation with our mother
- Occasional assistance around the home as needed
Requirements
- Must speak fluent english - punjabi is helpful too
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Responsible, trustworthy, and organized
- Comfortable assisting in a family home environment
- Previous experience as a nanny, housekeeper, caregiver, or household assistant is an asset
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is someone who:
- Enjoys cooking and helping around the home
- Is friendly, patient, and enjoys conversation
- Takes initiative and notices what needs to be done
- Is reliable and punctual
Compensation
- Competitive hourly pay (based on experience)
- Flexible daytime schedule. Monday Wednesday Friday 9-12 or 9-1 is preferred.

Working Hours
The shifts would be Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday for 3 hours. Start and end times are flexible.
