Join our dynamic team as a Class 1 Truck Driver, specializing in USA lanes, and become a vital part of our logistics operation! Duties
- Safely operate Class 1 tractor-trailers across designated USA routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Load and unload freight efficiently using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or roll-off trucks when necessary.
- Transport a variety of cargo including refrigerated goods, flatbed loads, tankers, and other freight types with precision and care.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with company standards.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and route details in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Plan optimal routes for timely deliveries while managing unforeseen delays proactively.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery schedules, route changes, or any issues encountered on the road.
Qualifications
- Valid Class 1 driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including route driving and delivery operations.
- Proficiency in operating manual transmission trucks is preferred.
- Experience with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, or roll-off trucks is highly desirable.
- Ability to load & unload freight safely using forklifts or other equipment as needed.
- Strong knowledge of safety protocols related to trucking and cargo handling.
