Warehouse Supervisor

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:30am-6:00pm
Responsibilities
- Manages workflow by assigning and balancing job duties among receivers.
- Ensures stock is received promptly.
- Verifies products are location and stock rotation.
- Conducts cycle counts and investigates inventory discrepancies.
- Monitors warehouse supplies to prevent shortages.
- Supervises staff following Maxim’s Leadership principles
- Motivates staff and ensures proper training is complete.
- Communicates including providing standards and measuring performance and providing feedback
- Supports Dispatch by monitoring employee production levels.
- Ensures parts orders are completed on time by order pickers.
- Inspects orders for quality control before shipment.
- Confirms part orders are ready according to the delivery schedule.
- Stages stock orders and interbranch shipments for scheduled shipment days.
- Enforces company safety protocols, use of PPE, and proper equipment operation.
Requirements:
- 1 to 3 years’ experience in all aspects of a warehouse (order picking, shipping, receiving, dispatching, warranty, and inventory control)
- 1 or more years previous leadership experience
- Valid forklift certificate preferred
- Driver’s license and own transportation required
- Experience in the HD truck & trailer (or related) industry an asset
- A team player with a strong commitment to the customer
- Proven leadership skills - motivating, coaching, training
- Ability to communicate effectively with varying levels of people
- Flexible and adaptive to changing demands
- Strong problem solving and decision making skills
- Organized, sets priorities, meets deadlines
- Ability to lift 80 pounds without assistance
- Basic computer skills with MS Word/Excel, email, internet, keyboarding
- Knowledge of Karmak business system an asset
