Job Summary
Sake & Tapas Central, located on Granville Island, is a lounge that opened in June 2025. We offer sake tastings and serve cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages alongside Japanese-fusion meals. Our kitchen is Class 5, meaning that deep frying is not permitted.
We are looking for a part-time /entry level or line cook to work two days per week, executing recipes and preparing ingredients.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and Cook established recipes and standards
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and proper waste disposal
- Operate POS systems for order processing and cash handling as needed
- Support food safety protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations
- Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Plan menus, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
