Liquor Store Clerk
We are looking for a reliable, friendly, and customer-focused Liquor Store Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working with people, can stay organized in a fast-paced retail environment, and takes pride in providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
As a Liquor Store Clerk, you will be responsible for greeting customers, assisting with product selection, processing transactions through the POS system, stocking shelves, maintaining clean and organized displays, checking inventory, and ensuring the store remains clean and presentable at all times. You will also be expected to follow all company policies and provincial liquor regulations, including checking identification when required.
Qualifications:
Applicants must be reliable, punctual, trustworthy, and able to work independently as well as part of a team. Previous retail, customer service, cash handling, or liquor store experience is considered an asset but is not required. Applicants must be comfortable standing for long periods, lifting boxes, repacking, stocking and working evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Requirements:
- Strong customer service skills
- Basic cash handling experience
- Ability to lift and move product as required
- Strong communication skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Must meet the legal age requirements to work in a liquor store
- Serving it right certification required or must be willing to obtain

Pay: Starting from $18.25 per hour
