Job Overview
Brookside Dental Centre is seeking a skilled Dental Assistant/Floater to join our team in a full-time CDA II/Floater capacity. We are a family dentistry practice in Kanata North dedicated to providing comprehensive care through the latest dental research and technology.
This permanent position operates Tuesday through Friday and is ideal for an individual who enjoys a dynamic environment and is eager to be cross-trained. You will serve as an integral team member, primarily functioning as a floater while assisting chairside and supporting the reception desk as needed. NO WEEKENDS or LATE NIGHTS!!!
Duties
- Assist the dentist during various treatment procedures.
- Set up and break down operatories post-treatment.
- Take dental radiographs (x-rays) and digital impressions.
- Manage infection control, including the preparation and sterilization of instruments.
- Support reception by answering phones and managing patient check-ins/check-outs.
Skills
- Proficiency in dental assisting techniques.
- Experience with Cleardent or similar practice management software.
- Previous experience as a CDA II dental assistant is REQUIRED.
