Job Overview
We are looking for a reliable and experienced Production Kitchen Worker to join our commercial production kitchen and warehouse team. The successful candidate will have previous experience working in a commercial kitchen, bakery, food production, or similar production environment and be comfortable working in a fast-paced setting.
The ideal candidate is dependable, follows instructions carefully, maintains high standards of cleanliness and food safety, and works well as part of a team.
Duties
- Assist with daily food and bakery production in a commercial kitchen environment.
- Follow recipes, production instructions, and procedures accurately.
- Prepare, mix, portion, shape, bake, and package food and bakery products as required.
- Measure and handle ingredients according to established recipes and production standards.
- Operate basic kitchen and production equipment safely.
- Assist with preparation, packaging, labeling, and storage of finished products.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, equipment, and production spaces.
- Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
- Assist with receiving, organizing, and moving ingredients and supplies within the kitchen and warehouse.
- Lift and move items weighing up to 25 lbs occasionally/as required.
- Work efficiently to meet daily production schedules and deadlines.
- Follow directions from supervisors and management.
- Report any production, quality, equipment, or food safety concerns to the supervisor.
- Perform other general production and kitchen duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements
- 3–4+ years of previous experience in a commercial kitchen, bakery, food production, or similar production environment.
- Previous hands-on baking or food production experience is required.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Comfortable working in a commercial kitchen and warehouse environment.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally, as required.
- Good attention to detail and ability to maintain consistent product quality.
- Food Handler Certificate is an asset.
- Must be available to work full-time and maintain reliable attendance.

Pay: From $17.60 per hour
Expected hours: 35.0 per week
