The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, maintenance, and diagnostics, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role involves performing repairs, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring customer vehicles are maintained to the highest standards.
Experience with dealership settings, welding, and mechanical systems is highly valued. The Automotive Technician will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair a variety of automotive issues using schematics and technical manuals
- Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, brake repairs, and tire rotations
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete repairs effectively
- Follow manufacturer specifications and safety protocols during all repair procedures
- Read and interpret technical schematics and assembly instructions for complex repairs
- Conduct vehicle inspections to identify potential problems before they become major issues
- Assist with the installation of aftermarket parts or accessories as needed
- Maintain detailed records of repairs performed and parts used
- Ensure work areas are clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance needs clearly
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic, preferably in a dealership environment
- Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems and components
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment
- Ability to read schematics and technical manuals accurately
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in various positions for extended periods
- Experience with automotive repair, maintenance, and assembly processes
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence
