Job Summary
We are seeking a talented Freelance Video Editor to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for editing and producing high-quality video content that aligns with our brand vision and project goals. This role offers flexibility to work remotely and collaborate on diverse multimedia projects, including promotional videos, social media content, and corporate presentations. The Freelance Video Editor must possess strong technical skills, an eye for detail, and a passion for storytelling through visual media.
Duties
- Edit raw footage into polished videos using industry-standard editing software such as Adobe Premiere and Final Cut Pro
- Incorporate visual effects, transitions, and graphics using Adobe After Effects and Adobe Illustrator to enhance video quality
- Color correct and grade footage utilizing Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop to achieve desired aesthetic effects
- Design layouts and graphics for video overlays or supplementary materials with Adobe InDesign and Adobe Creative Suite
- Collaborate with clients or team members to understand project requirements and deliver content that meets specifications
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines
- Ensure all video content aligns with brand guidelines and project objectives
- Stay updated on the latest editing techniques and industry trends to continuously improve quality
Skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator, and InDesign
- Experience with Final Cut Pro is a plus
- Strong understanding of video storytelling, pacing, and visual composition
- Excellent attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple deadlines
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with clients or team members
- Portfolio showcasing previous editing work across various formats is highly desirable

Pay: $3,226.70-$7,786.09 per month
