Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ventilation units with precision and efficiency.
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment to maximize performance and extend lifespan.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and mechanical diagrams to accurately diagnose issues.
- Conduct plumbing tasks related to HVAC systems such as drainage, piping, and condensate removal.
- Utilize welding skills for repairs or modifications of metal components within HVAC units or related mechanical systems.
- Assist with boiler operations, maintenance, and repairs to ensure safe and reliable heating solutions.
- Repair appliances and mechanical components associated with HVAC systems while adhering to safety standards.
- Collaborate with construction teams during new installations or system upgrades to ensure seamless integration.
Experience
- Proven mechanic experience with a strong background in HVAC system installation and repair.
- Knowledge of plumbing, welding techniques, boiler operation, and appliance repair is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with reading schematics and mechanical drawings is essential for accurate troubleshooting.
- Construction experience or hands-on work in building environments will be advantageous.
