About The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Reporting Analyst to join our Financial Reporting team. Reporting to the Manager, Financial Reporting, this role is responsible for preparing investment fund financial statements and supporting regulatory reporting requirements for a diverse portfolio of clients.
The successful candidate will be pursuing or interested in pursuing a professional accounting designation and will bring strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional client service. They will thrive in a fast-paced environment, continuously seek process improvements, and work collaboratively with teams across multiple locations.
What You’ll Do
· Prepare complete annual and interim financial statements, including accompanying notes and supporting schedules for assigned investment funds.
· Assist with the preparation of regulatory filings and reports, including MRFPs, FIHI filings, and other client reporting requirements.
· Maintain accurate and current fund-specific financial reporting information.
· Process internal review comments and revisions to draft financial statements accurately and efficiently.
· Incorporate client and auditor comments into draft and final financial statements through completion and sign-off.
· Rollover financial statement templates, notes, and supporting documentation for upcoming reporting periods.
· Execute financial reporting controls and document progress throughout the reporting cycle.
· Support the implementation of new accounting and financial reporting standards.
· Assist with new fund setups and data maintenance within Diamond.
· Maintain documentation related to financial reporting correspondence and reporting deliverables.
· Participate in testing, implementation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
· Support special projects and other duties as assigned by management.
Must-Haves / Required
· Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
· Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
· Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills.
· Ability to manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
· Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and professionalism.
· Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team.
Nice-to-Haves / Assets
· Pursuing or planning to pursue a CPA, CPA (US), or ACCA designation.
· Prior experience in financial reporting, fund accounting, or investment fund administration.
· Knowledge of accounting standards applicable to investment funds.
· Introductory knowledge of, or strong interest in, the investment fund industry.

Pay: $55,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
