Senior Incident and Problem Manager:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Senior Incident and Problem Manager for a 12-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.
Senior Incident and Problem Manager - Job Description:
This role is focused on service delivery management, emphasizing proactive Problem Management activities to address the root causes of recurring issues affecting Capital Markets Technology and Operations. The Senior Incident and Problem Manager will provide governance and oversight for Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes to drive operational stability and recommend process improvements.
Senior Incident and Problem Manager - Responsibilities:
- Ensure Incident/Problem Management Processes are followed
- Work independently on complex tasks and unique situations
- Conduct independent analysis and assessment to resolve strategic issues
- Build effective relationships with internal/external stakeholders
- Lead or participate in defining communication plans and developing tailored messaging
- Execute work to deliver timely, accurate, and efficient service
- Support the execution of strategic initiatives in collaboration with stakeholders
Senior Incident and Problem Manager - Mandatory Skills:
- 4 - 6 years of relevant experience
- Expert knowledge of ITIL (v3 or V4) and processes
- ITIL Certification
- Experience with applications, operating systems, and/or networking
- PowerBI experience
- ServiceNow experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Senior Incident and Problem Manager – Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Previous banking experience, especially within Capital Markets
- Graduate degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
- Confluence/Jira experience
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong attention to detail
Senior Incident and Problem Manager – Assignment Length:
This is a 12-month contract position with the likelihood of extension and potential for conversion to full-time employment.
