We are seeking a Fuel Technician!
McKay Métis Contracting, an entity of McKay Métis Group, is seeking an experienced Fuel Technician.
Reporting to the Team Lead/designate, the Fuel Technician is responsible for the following:

Perform maintenance and inspection of the lubricant lines, meters, other associated systems, and infrastructure of the Gas Bars

Maintain associated equipment used in the management of the Gas Bars (including the cardlock equipment)

Perform fire extinguisher monitoring for the Gas Bars.

Maintain client’s equipment and use rental equipment as necessary to support continuous operations.

Schedule repair work or preventative maintenance, as needed for Gas Bars and equipment (meters, pumps, etc.)

Gas Bars Preventative Maintenance Program:
-
Conduct and review daily, weekly, monthly, and annual checks to ensure completed, actioned and properly documented.

Document any failures/problems in action log and initiate and/or follow-up for resolution accordingly
-
Manage Gas Bars’ spare parts holding area (heated and unheated areas).
-
Order parts as required. Maintain minimum/maximum of critical parts on daily basis.

Update parts catalogue. Immediately report deficiencies with building/equipment/work.

Immediately report deficiencies with building/equipment/work environment.
-
Execute seasonal grease changes.
-
Decant grease as needed.
-
Lube warehouse
-
Obtain licenses, permits and approvals required to perform the work and to maintain the gas bars Gas Bars and related services safely

Manage, maintain, and operate the Goods Dispensing Facility (GDF) and Goods Dispensing Mobile Site (GDMS)
-
All other duties as required

Petroleum Mechanic Helper (PMH) certification
-
Petroleum Mechanic 3 (PM3) certification required
-
OPW Fuel Management certification
-
Class 5 Driver’s License
-
Minimum 5 years’ experience
-
OSSA & CSTS, or BSO, or CSO
-
Must be able to repetitively lift up to 50 pounds
-
Successfully complete all pre-employment testing
-
7 on, 7 off, 12 hours per day
-
