Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Auto Body Technician to join our automotive service team. Duties
- Repair, replace, and refinish vehicle body panels following manufacturer specifications and safety standards
- Use hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment to perform repairs efficiently and accurately
- Assess vehicle damage to determine the scope of repairs needed
- Perform frame straightening, dent removal, and alignment procedures
- Prepare vehicles for painting, including sanding, masking, and priming surfaces
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency
- Collaborate with team members to complete repairs within designated timeframes
- Ensure all repairs meet quality standards and customer expectations
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Auto Body Technician or similar role; dealership experience is a plus
- Mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and repair techniques
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment
- Ability to perform automotive repair tasks with precision and attention to detail
- Strong understanding of safety protocols in an auto repair environment
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
- Physical ability to lift heavy parts and stand for extended periods
- Prior mechanic experience is advantageous but not mandatory
