Production & Operations Associate
Houle Sports Excellence is seeking a motivated, energetic, and dependable Production & Operations Associate to join our growing team in a full-time, year-round role.
This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys variety in their day and thrives in a fast-paced environment. One day you may be decorating apparel with a heat press, preparing team orders, and receiving shipments; the next you could be helping customers in our showroom, making local deliveries, or supporting one of our off-site events.
We're willing to train the right person. More than experience, we're looking for someone with a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn.

Houle Sports Excellence is a locally owned sporting goods retailer specializing in team sports equipment, custom apparel, corporate clothing, promotional products, and event merchandise. We work with sports organizations, schools, businesses, and athletes throughout the region and continue to grow our production and customization capabilities.
What You'll Do?
Production & Order Fulfillment
- Decorate apparel and promotional products using heat press equipment
- Prepare and process team apparel and corporate clothing orders
- Perform CAD-cutting and production preparation tasks
- Package and organize completed orders for delivery or pickup
- Maintain quality standards and attention to detail throughout production
Shipping & Receiving
- Receive, unpack, inspect, and organize incoming shipments
- Pick, pack, and ship customer orders
- Move inventory and products throughout the warehouse and production areas
- Assist with inventory organization and stock replenishment
Customer Service & Showroom Support
- Assist customers in our team apparel and corporate clothing showroom
- Answer customer inquiries in person, by phone, and by email
- Help clients select products and understand customization options
- Provide a professional and friendly customer experience
Deliveries & Events
- Make local deliveries when required
- Assist with setup, operation, and teardown of off-site events
- Represent Houle Sports Excellence at tournaments, merchandise sales, apparel days, and community events
- Help transport products, displays, and equipment to event locations
What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Physically capable of lifting, carrying, and moving boxes and merchandise throughout the day
- Valid Ontario G Driver's Licence with a clean driving record
- Comfortable using computers and basic software applications
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
Assets (Not Required)
- Bilingual (English/French)
- Experience in retail, customer service, warehouse, production, or fulfillment environments
- Experience with heat press, apparel decoration, printing, or customization equipment
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
Schedule & Compensation
- Full-time, year-round position
- Typical schedule is Monday to Friday, daytime hours
- Occasional evenings and weekends required during company events and peak seasons
- Average of 35–45 hours per week depending on workload and seasonal demands
- Employees are paid for 40 hours per week, with additional hours banked to help offset slower periods throughout the year
