Operators Applicants must be punctual, professional and experienced (1 year minimum).
- 5 years of hydrovac vac experience REQUIRED for operating position, if applicant does not have 5 years experience they will be dismissed from applicant pool. Hydrovac experience not combovac/striaghtvac or water truck.
- Positive attitude towards safety and willingness to learn.
- Applicants must be able
to converse, read and write in the English language
- Mechanical inclination is an asset.
- Must be able to work with a partner and fit into a team atmosphere.
- Must demonstrate a strong customer service focus, being able to handle a wide array of customer requests on site, and interacting with many different personalities is key.
- Applicants for Operators position must hold a valid class 3 with (Q)Airbrake endorsement or equivalence.
- Safety tickets are not mandatory, but a great asset - First Aid/CPR, C.S.T.S., H2S, Fall Protection and Ground Disturbance.
- Must be ok with flexible hours, start and end times vary day to day.
- Being available for weekend work is necessary.
- Willing to learn and being coachable is key.
- Can listen to directions and follow procedures.
- Be prepared for physically demanding outdoor work.
- Must be eligible to work in Canada.
- Other duties as required ex-cleaning of shop.

- Qualifications:
- Operate hydrovac equipment to perform excavation and trenching tasks
- Safely dig around utilities and other structures
- Build and maintain efficient work sites
- Prior experience in hydrovac operation
- Mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
- Commercial driving experience with a clean drivers abstract
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
