THE COMPANY:
Norfolk Disposal Services Limited is a family owned and operated business within the Waste Management industry providing dedicated and excellent services to its clients and community within the Norfolk and surrounding area for over 60 years.
THE POSITION:
Norfolk Disposal Services is currently seeking an experienced full-time licensed 310T Truck and Coach Mechanic to join our Team and work within our Mechanical Shop to maintain and service our Commercial Fleet of vehicles.
This position requires a minimum of three (3 years) licensed 310T experience and has a work schedule from 8:00 am - 6:00 pm Monday - Friday with alternating Saturdays (6:00 am - 12:00 pm).

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform preventative maintenance on vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Diagnose mechanical issues and conduct repairs as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to prioritize tasks and maintain workflow efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed.
- Adhere to safety standards and regulations while working in the shop environment.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in mechanical technology.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Have a minimum of 3 years experience and hold a valid 310 T Truck and Coach Technician License
- Have own set of tools (some tools provided by the Employer)
- Be punctual and reliable daily attendance
- Cooperative attitude and be a team player
- Must be able to work flexible schedule to support hours of operations
