Overview
Join our healthcare team as an Acupuncturist, where you will play a vital role in serving the community through expert acupuncture techniques. In this position, you will provide personalized treatment plans, deliver compassionate patient care, and contribute to improving overall health outcomes. We focus on treating a wide range of sports injuries, pain related conditions and overall wellness. We provide training for you to understand what we do, and help you develop relative skills. We prefer people with more than just acupuncture license, such as RMT and Osteopathy.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual health concerns and develop tailored acupuncture treatment plans.
- Administer acupuncture treatments using sterile needles, ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout each session.
- Educate patients on the benefits of acupuncture and other complementary therapies to support their health goals.
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, including treatment notes, progress reports, and relevant medical history.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate comprehensive care strategies for diverse patient needs.
- Ensure strict adherence to health and safety protocols, including proper sterilization of equipment and compliance with medical regulations.
Experience
- Proven experience practicing acupuncture in a clinical setting, preferably within a hospital or healthcare environment, experience with tuina massage is a plus
- Strong background in patient care with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with diverse populations.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation standards used in healthcare settings.
- Prior experience working in hospital environments is highly desirable, demonstrating your ability to navigate complex medical systems.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development through certifications or training in traditional Chinese medicine or related fields is a plus.
- Fluent in English and candidates with more than just acupuncture license, such as RMT and Osteopathy is preferred.

Pay: $72.00-$160.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8.0 – 40.0 per week
