Job Overview
A retractable awning manufacturer is seeking a dedicated and hardworking Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various tasks that support our operations and contribute to the overall efficiency of our projects. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment. Job location is in Vaughan at Keele and Rutherford.
Duties
- Assist in the loading and unloading of materials and supplies.
- Follow instructions from supervisors to complete tasks efficiently.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Working on the assembly of various products as needed.
- Working on packaging station as needed.
Experience
- Previous experience in a labour-intensive role is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with construction or manufacturing environments is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
- Ability to lift heavy merchandise working with other team members.
