Commissionaires Ottawa is looking for a Manager, Growth Marketing & Demand Generation to lead campaign strategy and execution that creates awareness, generates demand, and connects marketing activity to measurable business outcomes.
This is a strategic, hands-on role for a growth-minded marketer who is ready to move our marketing from reactive promotion to a proactive, data-informed growth model and building pipelines before opportunities reach the proposal stage.
What you will be doing…
Reporting to the Director, Marketing & Sales, you will own the development and execution of growth marketing campaigns tied to organizational priorities, service lines, and target sectors. You will work closely with Business Development to ensure marketing contributes meaningfully to pipeline activity — building campaigns that move audiences from awareness to inquiry, engagement, and lead conversion.
Some of your responsibilities include…
- Lead growth marketing campaigns across digital, email, paid, organic, and promotional channels, aligned to business priorities and target sectors
- Build and optimize lead generation pathways — including landing pages, nurture flows, email sequences, and campaign journeys — that strengthen conversion readiness
- Oversee planning, deployment, monitoring, and optimization of campaigns across the website, paid media, email, and social channels
- Work with agency partners to develop, launch, and continuously improve paid and promotional campaigns
- Collaborate with Brand and Communications to ensure campaign messaging aligns with positioning, editorial direction, and brand standards
- Track and report on campaign performance, leads, conversions, and growth indicators — building practical reporting that shows what is working and where to improve
- Manage campaign calendars, timelines, deliverables, and approvals across multiple stakeholders and partners
- Support annual marketing planning, budget management, and prioritization of growth initiatives

Your must-haves:
- Minimum 5 to 7 years of progressive experience in growth marketing, demand generation, digital marketing, or integrated campaign management
- Post-secondary education in marketing, digital marketing, communications, business, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- Experience building and executing campaigns tied to measurable business objectives
- Experience with digital channels, lead generation tactics, and conversion-focused content journeys
- Experience managing agency partners, vendors, or cross-functional campaign contributors
- Strong analytical and reporting capability with the ability to interpret data and apply sound judgment
- B2B, service-oriented, or relationship-driven environment experience is preferred
- Knowledge of CRM, email, analytics, paid media, or marketing automation platforms is an asset
- Must be eligible for and able to obtain and maintain a Government of Canada Secret security clearance
