We are seeking a reliable and hands-on IT Infrastructure Technician to join our growing team. This full-time, on-site role focuses primarily on physical IT infrastructure including structured cabling, hardware installations, workstation deployments, and network equipment setup. The ideal candidate enjoys working with their hands, solving technical problems, and supporting the physical backbone of modern IT environments. Duties and Responsibilities
- Install, route, and terminate network cabling (Cat5e, Cat6, and Cat6A)
- Perform cable testing, labeling, and documentation
- Install and mount network equipment including switches, routers, patch panels, and wireless access points
- Assist with server rack installation, cable management, and data closet organization
- Deploy and install desktop computers, monitors, printers, and other end-user hardware
- Assist with workstation setup, imaging, and hardware configuration
- Troubleshoot physical network connectivity issues including cabling faults and hardware failures
- Support office moves, equipment relocations, and infrastructure upgrades
- Maintain organized cable runs, patch panels, and equipment racks following best practices
- Assist with infrastructure projects such as office builds and network expansions
- Maintain accurate documentation of installations, cable maps, and equipment inventories
- Ensure work is completed safely and in compliance with company standards
- Communicate project progress with team members and project managers
- Assist senior technicians with infrastructure installations and large deployments
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications
- Diploma or certification in Computer Systems Technician – Networking (or related field) preferred
- 1+ year of experience in IT infrastructure, cabling, or hardware deployment preferred
- Basic understanding of networking fundamentals (IP addressing, switches, routers)
- Experience with structured cabling installation and termination considered an asset
- Familiarity with computer hardware, printers, and common office technology
- Ability to use basic hand tools, cable testers, and installation equipment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift and move IT equipment (servers, monitors, UPS units, etc.)
- Comfortable working on ladders and in ceiling or server room environments

Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour
