We are looking for an experienced Shipper/Receiver to join our team in Vaughan. This is a temp-to-permanent opportunity. Successful candidates may be hired directly onto our payroll with benefits.
Responsibilities
- Receive, verify, and organize incoming shipments.
- Process receiving and shipping transactions in the computer/ERP system.
- Operate forklifts safely to move and store materials.
- Pick, stage, and prepare orders for shipment.
- Maintain accurate inventory records.
- Support and coordinate with pickers and material handlers when required.
- Follow FIFO and proper product-handling procedures.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse.
Requirements
- Valid forklift experience/license for Counterbalance and Raymond Reach/Walkie.
- Previous shipping/receiving experience.
- Computer and ERP system experience.
- Good English communication skills.
- Food industry experience is an asset, particularly knowledge of FIFO and contamination prevention.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Sense of urgency and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift and move materials as required.
