Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Epoxy & Painter to join our growing team in Georgetown, ON. The ideal candidate will have 2–3 years of hands-on experience in epoxy floor coating, surface preparation, and commercial or industrial painting.
Please Note: This role involves work on government projects. Candidates must be eligible to pass a strict government security clearance.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, grinding, and patching
- Apply epoxy coatings and floor finishes to project specifications
- Perform interior and exterior painting using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment
- Mix paints, coatings, and epoxy materials accurately
- Ensure high-quality workmanship and attention to detail
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Work independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines
Requirements
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in epoxy flooring and painting
- Experience with surface preparation and coating applications
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and painting equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Physically fit and able to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
- Valid driver's license is an asset
- Must be able to successfully pass a government security clearance
