About Ecologik Mechanical
Ecologik Mechanical Ltd. is a growing mechanical contractor specializing in commercial, municipal, institutional, and high-end residential projects throughout the Lower Mainland. Our work includes plumbing, gas fitting, hydronic heating, HVAC coordination, waterworks, and mechanical system installations.
We are looking for a motivated 3rd Year Plumbing Apprentice who takes pride in quality workmanship, wants to continue developing their trade skills, and is looking for long-term growth opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Install and repair plumbing systems on commercial and residential projects
- Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and shop drawings
- Rough-in and finish plumbing fixtures and equipment
- Install domestic water, sanitary, storm, and gas piping systems
- Assist with hydronic heating and mechanical equipment installations
- Conduct pressure testing and commissioning activities
- Maintain a safe and organized worksite
- Complete daily reports and timesheets
Qualifications
- Registered 3rd Year Plumbing Apprentice with SkilledTradesBC
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Strong understanding of BC Plumbing Code and safe work practices
- Ability to read construction drawings and specifications
- Experience with copper, PEX, ABS, PVC, cast iron, and gas piping systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Registered apprentices in BC complete progressive technical training and workplace hours toward Red Seal certification.
Assets (Preferred but Not Required)
- Gasfitter B Ticket or progress toward certification
- Experience with commercial or municipal projects
- Fall Protection, WHMIS, First Aid, or Confined Space training
- Experience operating lifts and construction equipment
