Position Summary
The Supervisor, Phase I is responsible for the effective oversight and problem resolution of daily operations. In this position, you will help ensure minimal downtime, coordinate repairs, and supervise a team of laborers.

Qualifications and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of experience operating and maintaining a farming operation
- Previous experience in a supervisory role is preferred
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize work
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced work environment
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Oversee the production process to ensure all equipment and machinery are operational and materials are processed according to company standards
- Coordinate work assignments, delegate tasks, and train farm workers to ensure production standards are met, equipment is operated safely, and accurate records are maintained
- Coordinate all production materials and report any discrepancies to the General Manager
- Establish standard work procedures and maintain quality control and production records
- Ensure all team members follow safety and production procedures and report performance concerns to the General Manager
- Service equipment and machinery, or arrange for servicing, to ensure safe and efficient operation
- Ensure all equipment and machinery are sanitized and cleaned regularly
- Ensure farm safety and biosecurity procedures are followed
- Perform other duties as assigned
